Artist Statement
Art is Sandra's visual language rooted in deep emotions, memories and personal transformation. Working in the realm of abstract expressionism, she translates life experiences into color, movement and form - a reflection of her inner world.
As a lifelong painter, her journey arrived at a turning point when her brother passed in 2020.
Motherhood and grief expanded her emotional range and became a creative catalyst - to express her life experiences and its psychological depth in her paintings.
By engaging the viewer visually and emotionally, she aims to evoke reflection - where personal memories resurface.
We are all shaped by what we endure. Through her work Sandra reminds us that transformation is possible and beauty shines through after darkness.
